WHERE AND WHEN?
Lisbon, April 1-2, 2016 (one and a half day)
This one and a half day course is aimed at young rheumatologists and researchers working in the field of immunology.
You will have access to high quality, innovative instruction and coaching from an illustrious faculty from all over the world: Ann Marshak-Rothstein, Patrick Blanco, Paul Garside, John Isaacs, Rik Lories, Xavier Mariette and Arturo Zychlinsky.
The main goal of the course is to increase your skills in immunology and stimulate critical thinking in the design of your research. This course is designed as the perfect complement to the EULAR online course on rheumatic diseases and the EULAR postgraduate course, by consolidating your knowledge in immunology in a more interactive way. The course will also allow young researchers to get together, which will facilitate future collaborations; as well as interaction with the prestigious speakers. WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
You will receive substantial support by EULAR. So, you will only have to pay 150 euros (with 1 night accommodation) or 200 Euros (with 2 nights accommodation), plus your travel expenses; The fee includes the courses, beverages, food and accommodation. You may be able to get further financial support by applying for a EULAR bursary.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
The number of participants is limited to 40 participants in a competitive application process. Applicants will be selected based on their application form, which includes a CV, a personal statement and a short abstract of a potential future research project focusing on innate or adaptive immunity. A specific template for the project submission is provided at the end of the application form.
